Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account

Email, sign-in status, display name, avatar and region are used to create, identify and recover your account. Your password only derives a sign-in credential on your device and is never uploaded or stored in plain text.

Creation

Relay settings you create or join, your text and artwork, drafts and uploaded media are used to display content, run co-creation and keep permanent credits.

Interaction

Comments, likes, follows, invites, blocks and reports are used for interaction features and content safety.

Transactions

Spark order numbers, product identifiers, amounts, balance changes and refunds are used to fulfil purchases, reconcile accounts and issue refunds.

Device and moderation data

Device and system information, activity logs, review tickets and enforcement records are used for security, content moderation and appeals.

2. How permissions are used

Camera

Requested only when you tap “Camera” to capture artwork or material. The rest of the editor still works if you decline.

Photos

Requested only when you pick artwork, a cover or evidence images. Limited photo access is supported.

Notifications

Used for slot claim and deadline reminders, work updates, comments and review results. Categories can be turned off in Permissions & notifications.

Microphone

Requested only while you record and send a voice message. Recording ends when you release the record control, and microphone access can be revoked in system settings.

3. Sharing and storage

Recipients

Apple for in-app purchase and receipt validation, content moderation providers, and cloud storage and hosting providers. We do not sell personal information.

Storage location

Content and account data are stored on cloud infrastructure selected to operate the service. Cross-border transfers follow the assessments and safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention

Information is kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Merged co-created parts are retained and anonymised after account deletion, because other participants' rights and the integrity of the work depend on them.

4. Your rights

Access and correction

View and correct your display name, bio, avatar and region under Me > Edit profile.

Withdraw consent

Turn off notification categories or revoke system permissions at any time in Permissions & notifications. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out beforehand.

Delete your account

Delete your account under Settings > Account > Delete account after an identity check. You are signed out immediately and cannot sign in again.

5. Age requirement (18+)

RelayArt is an adults-only service. You must be at least 18 years old to register, access or use the service. We do not knowingly offer accounts to anyone under 18.

If we learn that an account does not meet this requirement, we may suspend or delete it and remove associated personal information as required by applicable law.

6. Other information

This policy may be updated. Material changes are announced in-app and, where necessary, require you to consent again. Please review it periodically.
